OSMusic.Net Forum Guidelines
The OSM.Net forums are a great place to communicate with other musicians. In order to keep the forums a positive resource for everyone, we ask that you abide by these simple guidelines.
  • Please stay on topic. Threads that get too far off topic can be moved or closed at any time by a forum moderator.
  • Do not crosspost. If you have a thread topic that belongs in another forum, put it there, or a moderator will put it there for you.
  • No swearing. While there are filters to get rid of the obvious stuff, masking or otherwise avoiding the filters will result in your post being deleted, edited, or moved to Anything Goes.
  • Do not link to any porn sites. This type of spam is unacceptable on a site that draws children, and will result in an instant ban.
  • Do not post links to or information about software cracks, hacks, and otherwise illegal activity.
  • No flamewars, especially in the open forums. If things get a bit out of hand, your thread may be moved to Anything Goes. If things get way out of hand, your thread may be closed or deleted.
The Anything Goes forum was created for users who wish to discuss heated topics, such as religion or politics, or for people who just want to let it all out. The swear filter is turned off in this forum, and you are allowed to post anything, except for extreme flamewars, pornography, and otherwise extremely explicit material. As such, we do not allow regular users access to this forum. In order to access this forum, you need a special password provided by the moderators of the forum. Simply contact one of the administrators for the password, and they usually will provide it for you. It is up to the moderator's discretion, but unless you have been an unusually abusive user, you will most likely receive the password.

Remember that these forums are for everyone. When posting, keep in mind that anyone can read what you post. Have fun posting!
